A Day in the life of Creative Supervisor, Sarthak Bahal

We caught up with Sarthak Bahal as part of our ‘Day in the Life’ column to find out what life at Isobar is like and what his job entails.

Please describe your job: What do you do?
I work as a creative supervisor with a specialization in UI/UX design.

What kind of skills do you need to be effective in your role?
Patience & perseverance. Being a designer, you are often the last piece of the puzzle, it all comes down to you after all the strategy meetings and brainstorming sessions. It is important to keep composure in those high-pressure situations and keep pushing.

Tell us about a typical working day…
I don’t think I have a typical day ever. That’s the great thing about being in the creative line of work- it’s new briefs, new challenges, different feedbacks. Unless you are working on one brand or one account with a specific job role, you don’t have a day which is typical.

What do you love about your job?
The challenge to do better than last time, every time.

How did you end up at Isobar, and where might you go from here?
Got referred by a friend. I am not sure, but then again, are we ever sure of where we might move on to?

Do you have any advice for marketers starting a career in an agency setup?
Be 100% sure that this is what you want to do. It is not for everyone.
